The Saucon Valley School District is already preparing students and parents for the possibility of a weather-related delay Wednesday, according to an alert that was issued via email Tuesday afternoon.
Specifically, the alert indicates that a two-hour delay on Wednesday could affect the final exam schedule for high school students.
Snow is predicted to fall Tuesday night, with as much as 2 to 4 inches currently forecast for the Lehigh Valley.

If there is a two-hour delay on Wednesday, Jan. 16:

Period One exams are cancelled.
9:30 - 11:00: Period Two Exam
10:30 – 11:30: Lunch     Â
11:30 – 1:00: Period 3 Exam
1:00 – 1:05: Student Break
1:05 – 2:35: Period 4 Exam
Families of high school students should also keep in mind the following upcoming dates/schedules, as they relate to classes and in the event of a two-hour delay on Wednesday:
Thursday, Jan. 17: PM exams as scheduled.
Friday, Jan. 18: No school for students.
Monday, Jan. 21: School is closed.
Tuesday, Jan. 22: Shortened homeroom, students report to their Semester 1, Period 1 class for a 90-minute class. Exam One will take place during this time. Semester Two will begin Tuesday at the start of Period 3.
