Woman Cited for Public Drunkenness, Disorderly Conduct

Hellertown Police say a Poplar Road resident was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after officers were called to investigate a noise complaint near her home.

In a news release, police said Lucy Love, 66, of the 800 block of Poplar Road, was intoxicated in public "and caused a disturbance" shortly after 7 p.m. July 27.

Police issued the news release about the alleged incident Monday.

Love was also arrested for simple assault, harassment, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct last year, after she allegedly fought with a neighbor Aug. 29.
