• Hermitage police offer reward in decade-old unsolved homicide (wfmj.com) — Hermitage police are offering a cash reward for information about the still-unsolved 2015 shooting death of 56-year-old Ralph Kenneth Lloyd in the Patagonia neighborhood. Investigators say even small details could help and are urging anyone with knowledge of the late-night incident on North Water Avenue to contact Detective Songer by phone or email, with anonymous tips welcome.
   

• Nora Jane Barnes, Farrell, PA (wkbn.com) — Family and friends in Farrell, Hermitage, and across the Valley are mourning the passing of Nora Jane Barnes, a devoted mother, grandmother and Steelers fan. A memorial service is planned for December 27, with donations in her memory accepted by John Flynn Funeral Home and Crematory in Hermitage, where online condolences and tributes can also be shared.
