HATBORO & HORSHAM, PA — These two neighboring eastern Montgomery County communities are preparing to host their annual Citizens Police Academy program, with the upcoming 10-week course marking the 25th anniversary of the joint municipal program.
The Hatboro and Horsham Police Departments are preparing for their Citizens Police Academy next month, where members of the two communities are invited to sign up to learn about the ins and outs of suburban police work.
"Community involvement is the most powerful tool any law enforcement agency has in the fight against crime," Horsham Police Lt. Larry Bozzomo says in a community notice about the program. "This is an excellent opportunity to meet and interact with members of the Horsham and Hatboro Police Departments about issues that concern you."
