Mother Stabbed By Son In Horsham Twp.: Police

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — A woman suffered injuries after being stabbed by her son on Friday afternoon, police said.

The Horsham Township Police Department responded to the 300 block of Summer Avenue behind the Acme supermarket near Woodlawn and Cottage avenues for the report of a stabbing, Lt. Larry Bozzomo told Patch.

He said the son was taken into custody while his mother was transported to Abington Memorial Hospital by the Horsham Fire Company ambulance for treatment of injuries.

The stabbing took place around 1:35 p.m., authorities said.
