DA Recognizes Hatboro Police Chief, Officers

Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman commends the Hatboro Police for the arrest and subsequent conviction of Suliman Ali, who allegedly robbed a borough store at gunpoint.

Four members of the Hatboro Police Department were among the county's law enforcement community that District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman recognized as part of her annual law enforcement/civilian commendations on Wednesday.

Hatboro Police Chief James Gardner, Detective Sgt. Cameron Goold, Sgt. James Petrik and Officer Andrew Valleley were honored for their work in bringing the armed robber of Burdick's News Agency to justice.

 last month of three counts stemming from the January 2012 robbery. Ali, who had prior convictions, could spend the rest of his life behind bars.
