House Fire Under Investigation In Horsham

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — A home suffered significant damage after a Christmas Eve fire, authorities said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the fire marshal.

Horsham Community Police Services said fire crews responded at 10:43 a.m. Wednesday to the 100 block of Macintosh Court for the report of a building fire.

The Horsham Township Fire Department upgraded the call after arriving on the scene, and other fire crews from Montgomery and Bucks counties assisted in battling the blaze.

Authorities said the home suffered significant damage. One resident was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The township's Department of Emergency Management assisted the family at the scene.
