Eagles Super Bowl Ticket Scam Warning In Hatboro
Hatboro officials said residents should disregard posts from people trying to sell Super Bowl tickets on its Facebook page.
HATBORO, PA —With Super Bowl Sunday less than a week away, borough residents scrambling to get tickets to watch the Philadelphia Eagles in Arizona should beware of scams, officials warn.
Hatboro officials said they have received several posts on the borough's Facebook page about individuals attempting to sell tickets to Super Bowl LVII.
Officials said these posts started after the borough announced measures late last week preparing for a Super Bowl celebration in the York Road Business District if the Eagles beat the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII this Sunday.

"Just a reminder, sadly persons are attempting to sell tickets to the Super Bowl that are not legitimate," the borough posted.

Borough officials said that Super Bowl tickets should be purchased from approved vendors.
Eagles tickets for the Super Bowl are soaring with some reporting the cost at more than $4,000.
"Just remember for big-ticket items like this, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn’t," borough officials said.
Officials said that anyone posting tickets for sale on its Facebook page who is not sanctioned by the borough will be immediately removed.
