Aside from the Wilson-Hain race, however, the other Republican candidates are still looking strong at this point.

The reason for the changing results has to do with mail-in ballots that the county is still in the process of counting.

When county election officials posted their unofficial results on Tuesday evening, they only included the results from in-person voting precincts as well as the mail-in ballots that had been counted up to that point.

It was unclear as of Thursday morning when all of the outstanding mail-in ballots would be counted and when the final results would be tallied.
