Hatboro Man Charged in $10K Jewelry Theft
Stephen John Meehan IV faces charges stemming from his alleged theft of jewelry valued at $10,000.

A Hatboro man was arrested this week and charged in connection with a home burglary involving the theft of jewelry valued at $10,000.
Stephen John Meehan, IV, of Hatboro, was arrested on Monday and charged with burglary, criminal trespass, receiving stolen property, and theft by unlawful taking or disposition.
The charges stem from an April 23 residential burglary of a home in the 500 block of County Line Road in Horsham Township.

The victim had reported that her home had been ransacked, and approximately $10,000 worth of jewelry was stolen.
The investigation led detectives to a local pawn shop, where Meehan allegedly sold some of the victim’s jewelry, according to police.

Meehan was arrested in Upper Moreland Township once it was discovered there was an arrest warrant filed against him.
He was arraigned before a district magistrate and released on $5,000 unsecured bail.
