Horsham Blasting May Cause Ground Vibrations This Afternoon
Controlled blasting operations today between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. may cause loud 'booms,' 'cracks,' or minor ground vibrations in Horsham.

HORSHAM, PA — Area residents need not be alarmed of any potential loud 'booms' or 'cracks' in the township mid-afternoon today.
Township officials are warning those who live and work in the area of Davis Grove Road and Horsham Road that controlled blasting operations at the site of the old Limekiln Pike Golf Course may have the potential to cause loud noises or even some minor ground vibrations between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. today.
A blasting company will be working in the area to break apart large areas of bedrock at the old golf course, the township stated. It says this type of blasting operation is typically needed when there is a large area of underground bedrock that requires removal.
