Horsham Citizens Bank Branch Scheduled For Closure: Report
A local Citizens Bank branch in Horsham is one of three that the financial instituted announced that are slated for closure.
HORSHAM, PA — A local Citizens Bank branch in this eastern Montgomery County community is reportedly scheduled for closure.
The Philadelphia Business Journal reports that the Citizens Bank branch at 314 Horsham Road in Horsham is one of three scheduled for upcoming closures, the other two being in Havertown, Delaware County and in Philadelphia County.
The Horsham branch is located within the Giant Foods grocery store.

According to the bank's website, the Citizens branch inside the Acme at 200 Blair Mill road in Horsham is still apparently operational.
The Business Journal reported that the closures were attributed to the fact that fewer customers are banking in person because of the pandemic. Increased functionality of online and mobile services was also reportedly cited as a reason for the closures.

Citizen Bank has closed 61 branches this year alone, according to the business journal.
