Horsham Fitness Court Getting Makeover
Horsham officials will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony to unveil changes at the court at Lukens Park.

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — Fitness is the focus in the township next week.
Besides the pickleball courts behind the Horsham Township Municipal Complex, the township will now be updating its fitness court.
The township will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. Oct. 15 to unveil its updated Fitness Court at Lukens Park at 540 Dresher Road.

The township has partnered with the National Fitness Campaign and Independence Blue Cross to add brand new graphics and replace some aging equipment at the fitness court.
The Horsham Fitness Court features seven stations designed to encourage all fitness levels and abilities to get a full body workout in seven minutes.

Each station utilizes body weight to increase fitness capabilities and healthy living habits.
Fitness fans can follow through the stations in order and work out at each spot for 45 seconds. They are encouraged to take a 15-second break before moving on to the next station.
Instructions for each station are on the wall decals or from the downloadable Fitness Court app.
Meanwhile, as part of the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Horsham-based gym CrossFit Generation will offer a free instructional class.
