Horsham Hearth Cooking, Second Saturday Hatboro

Weekend temps forecasted to be in the high 40s and low 50s? That's a sure sign that Spring is near.

And if the cold days of late have you itching to get inside, you're in luck. There's plenty to do this weekend in Hatboro and Horsham. Even better, you might be able to get away with only a lightweight jacket Saturday and Sunday.

Here are some options:

"ALL MY SONS"

Where/when: The Village Players of Hatboro, 401 Jefferson Ave., Hatboro, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m.; Sunday at 2 p.m. 

Why go: Enjoy Arthur Miller's drama put on by this community troupe.

Cost: $12 for Friday and Saturday; $10 for Sunday

PROM FASHION SHOW

Where/when: Hatboro-Horsham High School, 899 Horsham Road, Horsham, Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. 

Why go: Students will take to the runway of sorts to model current fashions available prom season. The community will have the opportunity to purchase prom gowns from the gently used prom dress sale. Dresses range in cost from $10 to $30. Accessories are also available for purchase.

Cost: $5 admission (proceeds benefit Hatboro-Horsham's Post-Prom party).

FROM GRAEME PARK'S HEART TO YOUR HOME

Where/when: Graeme Park, 859 County Line Road, Horsham, Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Why go: Participants can experience first hand the emergence of our unique American appetite, as the period leading up to the Revolutionary War brings together elements of English, German, French, and Native recipes. Each class includes a hands-on lesson in open hearth cooking and the opportunity to enjoy your authentic meal. 

Cost: $55

SECOND SATURDAY HATBORO

Where/when: Hatboro's downtown shopping district along York Road, Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. 

Why go: Free entertainment and activities at participating retailers and discounts at some borough stores. 

Cost: Free 

HAM DINNER

Where/when: Lehman Memorial United Methodist Church, 300 S. York Road, Hatboro, Saturday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. 

Why go: Enjoy as much ham (and all the fixings) as you can eat. Proceeds benefit Lehman's Sanctuary Choir.

Cost: $10 for adults; $5 for kids ages 6-12; free for kids 5 and under.

DE-CLUTTER YOUR LIFE

Where/when: Impact Thrift Store, 14 E. Moreland Ave., Hatboro, Saturday from noon to 1 p.m. 

Why go: Professional home organizer, Audrey Cupo, owner of A Better Space, will share tips and techniques and demonstrate how to make an impact by eliminating clutter in your home or office.

Cost: Free
