Horsham Man Kills Self After Domestic Assault: Police
The incident on Cottage Avenue on Monday evening followed a violent attack in Upper Moreland involving a gun, police said.
HORSHAM, PA — A domestic assault that started in Upper Moreland on Monday ended when police in Horsham found that a man involved had killed himself.
Police from Horsham and Upper Moreland responded Monday evening to a home in the 300 block of Cottage Avenue in Horsham, said spokesmen for both agencies.
According to Horsham Police, the earlier incident in Upper Moreland had involved "a violent domestic assault involving a gun" and a felony warrant had been issued for the Horsham man's arrest.

"When attempts to contact the subject failed, the regional SWAT team was dispatched to assist with safely apprehending the suspect," said Horsham Police Lt. K. John Potts. "When the SWAT team entered the home, the suspect was found deceased."
Multiple residents of the area, which is near Keith Valley Middle School, had reported seeing a heavy police presence Monday evening.

Police Tuesday afternoon had not released any further details about the incident.
