Whiteside is an incumbent and serves as the body's current vice president, while both Hill-Milbourne and Gallagher are also incumbents.
If Hill-Milbourne ends up losing her seat it would be significant because she had made history when first elected four years ago as the first Black woman ever elected to Horsham Township Council. She is married to Michael Milbourne, who has been Montgomery County's elected coroner since 2016.
