A 24-year-old Horsham Township man was sentenced Friday for the rape of a child and child pornography possession, authorities said.

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — A 24-year-old township man faces between 100-200 years in state prison after being sentenced Friday for raping 10-month-old baby last year, authorities said.
Horsham Community Police Services said that Brian Groo pleaded guilty and was sentenced Friday to the lengthy prison term.
"His crimes were so unspeakable," Horsham ChATs said in a Facebook post on Friday. "Suffice to say, he won't hurt any more children."

Brian Groo, 24, of Horsham, was arrested and charged with Rape of a Child, Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Indecent Assault, Unlawful Contact with a Minor, Endangering the Welfare of Children, Photograph/Film/Depict on Computer Sex Act–Child, Disseminate Photo/Film of Child Sex Acts and other charges, Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele said when the charges were announced last October.
Montgomery County Detectives had received a cyber tip from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) regarding two videos of apparent child sexual abuse material, including a video of the sexual abuse of an infant boy that had been uploaded and shared via the online messaging platform Kik, authorities said.

The cyber tip indicated that the video of the boy appeared to be newly produced and/or homemade content, which meant that a child might be subjected to ongoing or additional sexual assaults.
The investigation by NCMEC, County Detectives, and Homeland Security traced the user name "Zenshadowsol” who shared the videos to other online accounts and then traced the IP address to Groo's home in Horsham Township.
Detectives served a search warrant and recovered a hidden cell phone belonging to Groo, which had the Kik application installed on the phone and was the email address associated with the uploads in the cyber tip. The video involving the infant boy was determined to be a 10-month-old baby.
