Man Tried To Buy Firearm Illegally In Hatboro: PD
Hatboro Police arrested a 33-year-old Philadelphia man on an active warrant at a borough gun shop on Sunday.

HATBORO, PA — A 33-year-old Philadelphia man is in custody for illegally trying to buy a forearm from a borough gun shop, police said.
Eric Brown, 33, of Philadelphia, was arrested on Sunday after police responded at 6:38 p.m. to the Continental Armory at 9 South York Road for a man with an active arrest warrant.
Police officers arrested Brown on the outstanding warrant.

Police said Brown tried to buy a firearm at the business. He had a prior conviction for a violent criminal offense, which prohibits him from purchasing and possessing firearms, police said.
Brown was charged with two counts of the sale or transfer of firearms and two counts of providing false information to authorities.
