Myonex, A Worldwide Clinical Trial Supply Co., Opens Its Global Headquarters In Horsham

HORSHAM, PA — What started out as a small, local pharmacy in Norristown some years back is now a leading global clinical trial supply company, and that company broke ground this week at its new global headquarters right here in Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Myonex marked the opening of its new headquarters and U.S. operational facility with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on the company's 14-acre campus on Wednesday, an event attended by Horsham's township manager and two of its council members, according to a post on the township's Facebook page.

The event was live-streamed for the company's customers and employees in the United Kingdom and Germany, according to Myonex.

The new facility, which the company says was necessary to support its growth, measures 65,000 square feet in total, according to the company.

"Let's take a moment to remember the deeper reason why we're here — the cures are not ready yet," Chief Executive Officer James Lovett said in a statement, referring to individuals around the globe who suffer from a variety of diseases. "For every patient, we are in a race against time to discover the right cure. At Myonex, our purpose — and this building's purpose — is to help win this race more often."

During the ribbon-cutting, Lovett spoke about the critical importance of clinical trials, which can take an average of six years and fall behind schedule much of the time, according to a company news release.

"At Myonex, our mission is to make clinical trial supply faster and less expensive," he said in his statement.

Myonex's Executive Chairman Michael Cohen said that by keeping the focus on "our customers, the patients, and each other, there is nothing that we can't accomplish," according to the news release.
