New Keith Valley Middle School Expected To Open On Time
The Hatboro-Horsham School Board heard an update on the new middle school project at its committee meeting earlier this month.

HATBORO / HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —The new Keith Valley Middle School is expected to be ready to welcome students on Sept. 2.
The Hatboro-Horsham School Board received an update at its committee meeting earlier this month on the construction of the new Keith Valley Middle School.
The school board was told that the project is on budget and should be ready for the start of the school year on Sept. 2.

Bill Hambly of CHA Consultants showed photos of different parts of the project that looked much like renderings of the final product, including the learning stairs, gymnasium, auditorium, and swimming pool.
Demolition of the existing building will begin around mid-November and should be completed in April.

Meanwhile, Bill Stone —the district's director of business affairs —and the district’s financial advisor PFM discussed the final round of borrowing that will complete financing for the project.
The fifth and final round of borrowing calls for about $20.5 million.
The school board will vote on the measure at its meeting on Monday.
