Parkside Cafe Serves Up Breakfast All Day

Sunday is the biggest day for breakfast at Parkside Cafe in Horsham.

Each week, the cooks at Parkside Cafe and Catering in Horsham make 90 dozen eggs, according to co-owner Joy Bader.

Bader, a waitress of 11 years at the 92-seat eatery, which is situated amid a business complex at 935 AA Horsham Road in Horsham, in September became owner along with fellow waitress Judy Newcomb. Since taking over, Bader and Newcomb have released a new menu and extended breakfast to an all-day, every day affair.

Business has been picking up and some days every seat in the house is taken, according to Newcomb. If you're looking for a crowd to dine with, breakfasts on Saturdays and Sundays are "huge," Newcomb says.

Head cook Mike McLaughlin says he prepares breakfast for between 250 and 300 people on Sundays.

And Bader said she easily pours 500 to 600 cups of coffee on any given Sunday.
