HATBORO, PA — PECO is preparing to begin electrical upgrades in areas of Hatboro, and Horsham Township this summer, with officials saying the project will start in early June.

Hatboro officials announced that work is expected to begin in early June.

New equipment — including poles, tree-resistant aerial wires, and other associated devices — will be installed along Moreboro Road, North Linden Avenue, West Monument Avenue, Blair Mill Road, Hatboro Avenue, and Newington Drive within Hatboro, Horsham, and Upper Moreland.

Borough officials said the work is expected to last through October 2025.

During the upgrades, PECO and its contractors may need to temporarily interrupt electrical service in these impacted areas. The impact is expected to have minimal impact on residents and drivers in the area.
