Restaurant Crash Under Investigation

Horsham Police are looking into what caused a truck to hit Grandma's Grotto Sunday morning.

An F-150 rammed into a Horsham restaurant early Sunday morning, sending two to the hospital with injuries and puncturing the side of the business, police said. 

Horsham Police are still investigating the 12:19 a.m. Father's Day crash which involved a Ford F-150 truck striking the north side of Grandma's Grotto, 986 Easton Road, Deputy Chief Bill Daly told Patch.

The truck's driver, Lance Dayton, of Silver Springs, Md., and his passenger, David Guisado, of Havre De Grace, Md., were transported to Abington Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries, Daly said.

The truck sustained heavy front end damage and a hole punctured the side of Grandma's Grotto building. 

According to its Web site, the restaurant was closed on Sunday and is normally closed on Mondays as well.
