Hatboro hosted a Fire Safety Education program on Wednesday, one of several programs planned over the next few months.

HATBORO, PA — The crowd of senior citizens gathered at the Pennypack Community Center Wednesday morning for a Fire Safety Education presentation by the Montgomery County Office of Aging Services.
Attendees learned how to utilize fire safety techniques and plan for emergencies, including the proper use of smoke detectors, home safety (cooking safety, appliance safety, electrical safety, etc.), developing an escape plan, responding to fire, and more.
The program was one of several for older adults that will be taking place at the Pennypack Community Center on Spring Avenue over the next several weeks.
