Substance Found In Trash Under Investigation In Hatboro
The borough's fire marshal said that the substance was found in a public trash can at a Hatboro park on Monday.
HATBORO, PA — A substance found in a public trash can is under investigation, borough officials said.
Kate Valesky, the borough's fire marshal and emergency management coordinator, said the Borough Public Works staff was collecting trash on Monday morning when employees came upon a substance placed in a public trash can in one of the borough's parks.
Valesky said there was no immediate cause for concern at this time.

Due to the environmental concerns, an investigation is being conducted and handled by the appropriate authorities, Valesky said.
Meanwhile, the Hatboro Borough Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying three juvenile males in connection with an ongoing criminal mischief investigation.
