GARDENING 101

ART CLASSES FOR KIDS

Where/when: 1219 Glenburnie Lane, Dresher, Friday at 4:30 p.m.

Why go: Children and develop their artistic skills with lessons in drawing, painting, and working with clay.

Cost: Free

‘DROP DEAD’ FUNNY

Where/when: The Village Players of Hatboro, 401 Jefferson Ave., Hatboro, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m.

Why go: Share a few laughs while watching this hilarious play within a play.

Cost: $12

PICK-UP BASKETBALL

Where/when: Calvary Presbyterian Church, 405 Easton Road, Willo Grove, Saturday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Why go: Enjoy basketball with others indoors.

WRIGHTSTOWN FARMERS’ MINI MARKET

Where/when: Wrightstown Township Building, 2203 Second Street Pike, Newtown, Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Why go: Farm fresh local produce, including salad greens, root vegetables, carrots, apples, winter squash and more will be available for purchase.

 Pastured pork and lamb, grass-fed beef and eggs, fresh fair trade organically roasted coffee, honey, mushrooms, prepared foods, baked goods, nuts, applesauce, cider, goat cheese and natural pet foods will also be available.

Cost: Free to browse; depends on what you buy.
