Hatboro Police will be conducting targeted speed and stop sign enforcement in the neighborhoods surrounding the bridge project.
Police said it is in the best interest to follow the PennDOT-approved detours.
Any drivers who decide to cut through residential neighborhoods and speed, fail to stop at a stop sign or drive in an unsafe manner will receive a traffic citation that will cost $170 with no warnings issued, police said.
