Barner's win at 285 helps Shore complete comeback win vs. Muncy (sungazette.com) — Jersey Shore wrestling fans saw a dramatic home comeback as the Bulldogs erased a 36-6 deficit against Muncy, capped by junior Garrett Barner’s match-winning pin at heavyweight. The dual also included a concerning injury to Jersey Shore’s Bentley Nihart, who was taken to a local hospital for observation, and several key pins from upper-weight Bulldogs that swung the momentum.
   

2. Jersey Shore woman charged with theft of cough medicine from convenience store (sungazette.com) — A Jersey Shore resident has been charged with misdemeanor retail theft after cough medicine and a drink were allegedly taken from the Sheetz along Route 220 in Woodward Township last month. Police say store staff and surveillance footage linked the woman to the missing items, and she was later arraigned on the charge. No court outcome has been reported yet.
   

3. PA Senator Yaw Announces $6.2 Million for Locals (wkok.com) — State Senator Gene Yaw has announced $39,000 in state Neighborhood Assistance Program funding for the New Love Center in Jersey Shore, supporting local efforts to fight food insecurity and help low-income residents. The broader $6.2 million package also backs food banks, housing, and community programs across Lycoming, Bradford, and surrounding counties, but Jersey Shore’s allocation directly strengthens a key local nonprofit.
   

4. Penn College sets fall commencement for Dec. 20 (lockhaven.com) — A Jersey Shore resident, Hayden D. Lester, will serve as student speaker and receive the President’s Award at Penn College’s fall commencement in Williamsport on Saturday, Dec. 20. Lester, a business administration graduate and former Student Government Association president, is being recognized for leadership and service as nearly 311 students complete their degrees.
