4. Hundreds Attend as Snowstorm and Low River Levels Reshape Washington Crossing Events (mercerme.com) — A Langhorne Borough retired police chief once again portrayed George Washington during Sunday’s snow-disrupted reenactments at Washington Crossing, where low Delaware River levels forced cancellation of the actual boat crossing. Despite 5–7 inches of snow and drought conditions, hundreds still turned out for encampments, demonstrations, and living-history programs on both the Pennsylvania and New Jersey sides, with organizers improvising throughout the day.
