23-Year-Old Lansdale Woman Killed In NJ Crash
One person is dead and one injured after a tragedy in New Jersey.
LANSDALE, PA — A 23-year-old Lansdale woman was killed in a crash in New Jersey over the weekend, according to state police.
The incident occurred on Saturday, July 27 on County Route 519 in White Township, about four miles east of the Pennsylvania state line above Easton, according to authorities.
Luis Zhagnay, 29, of Lansdale was driving a Chevrolet with Rosa Castro Zumba, 23 of Lansdale in the passenger seat when it veered suddenly off the road, according to New Jersey State Police.

When the Chevrolet came back onto the road it crossed into the northbound lanes and hit a Ford SUV head on, officials said.
The vehicle then continued off the road again and hit a utility pole.

Zumba was declared dead at the scene. Zhagnay was seriously injured and taken to a nearby hospital.
The incident remains under investigation.
