$3 Million-Plus Lotto Ticket Sold In Montgomery County, Largest Ever

The winning ticket was the largest winner ever for the Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 with Quick Cash drawing. It was sold in Montco.

SOUDERTON, PA — A record-breaking lottery win occurred in this Montgomery County borough late last week when a Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket worth more than $3 million was sold at a local food mart.

Officials with the Pennsylvania Lottery confirmed that the $3,076,096.50 jackpot-winning Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket was the largest one of its kind ever sold in Pennsylvania Lottery history.

The ticket was sold at the Souderton Food Mart on East Broad Street in Souderton last Friday.

Lottery officials said that the previous record-setting jackpot of more than $2.4 million was won in Columbia County back in the spring of 2019.

The Cash 5 game is the state lottery's longest-running jackpot game and was first introduced back in April 1992.

The Cash 5 relaunched as Cash 5 with Quick Cash in March of last year.

Prizes must be claimed within one year, so lottery officials urged players to check their tickets to see if they match any of the winning numbers.
