EMS Vehicle Collides With Sedan In Montco, Injuries Reported
EMS were reportedly on the way to a call for a child experiencing cardiac distress at the time of the crash.

LANSDALE, PA — An emergency services vehicle that was enroute to a medical call on Monday evening in Lansdale collided with a civilian sedan, according to local officials and media reports.
The Lansdale Police Department said that just before 6:30 Monday evening, police officers, fire department crews and medical personnel were dispatched to a call for a medical emergency at a home on the 200 block of East Fourth Street in the borough.
While on the way to the call, one of the units belonging to Volunteer Medical Service Corps of Lansdale became involved in an accident with a passenger vehicle in the area of Fourth and Ridge Streets, according to police.

Lansdale Police said the incident remains under investigation and further details would be released at a later time.
The website NorthPennNow reported that the EMS vehicle was an SUV that belongs to the chief of VMSC, and that both the chief and the driver of the other vehicle were taken by ambulance to local hospitals for treatment of unspecified injuries.

The original 911 call that came in at the time the crash occurred was for a reported cardiac distress incident involving a young infant child, according to the NorthPennNow report.
There was no immediate word on the condition of the child.
