Family Of Former Montco Woman Who Died In Dominican Republic Hopes To Bring Her Home

Brianna Tiffany London, formerly of North Wales and most recently Puerto Rico, died in May. The family is trying to get her back home.

NORTH WALES, PA — The family of a former Montgomery County resident who had since moved to Puerto Rico is asking for the public's help with donations that would assist in bringing the deceased woman's body back from the Dominican Republic, where she had died this spring while on vacation.

Brianna Tiffany London, formerly of North Wales, died in May while vacationing in Puerto Rico, according to her family, who started a GoFundMe recently to help bring the body of London back home to Pennsylvania.

"Brianna brought love and happiness and pure joy to everyone she met, her high energy and mesmerizing spirit were infectious," the GoFundMe description reads. "Brianna conquered so much and over came every obstacle, she was fearless! Each day that passes her family, friends and those she touched will miss her beyond belief but her spirit will live with us forever. We are truly heartbroken over this loss, as she was greatly loved by all."

So far, the fundraiser has received about $7,466 in donations out of a stated goal of $10,000.

According to her obituary, London died suddenly on May 13 in the Dominican Republic, although specifics surrounding the circumstances of her death were not divulged.

The obituary says that her desire to "live life fully" eventually led to her moving to Puerto Rico, "where she discovered a sense of peace and contentment being close to the ocean and mountains."

London, in addition to enjoying surfing and swimming, ran her own clothing and accessories line, her obituary states.

She also enjoyed astronomy and while living in Puerto Rico she "often found pleasure during the evenings, studying the night sky," the obituary states.

London is survived by a husband, mother, sister, grandparents and a great-grandmother.

A funeral was held in late June.
