New Early Education School Opens In Perkiomen Township

The school says it has a unique approach, blending "purposeful play with nurturing guidance."

PERKIOMEN TOWNSHIP, PA β€” A new private early education school has opened up its doors in Perkiomen Township.

The Primrose School, located at 2 Iron Bridge Drive and labelled the school's "Collegeville" location serves children from 6 weeks old to 5 years old.

"Students will benefit from the Primrose exclusive, research-informed balanced learning approach, which blends purposeful play with nurturing guidance from teachers to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion and inspire a lifelong love of learning," the school shared in a statement.

The Collegeville location is the seventh in the greater Philadelphia area. There are also schools nearby in Devon, Oaks, and Royersford.

The school says they can take up to 145 students at a time. Their 10,501-square-foot building has 10 classrooms, a dedicated outdoor play area, and more.

The new school will be run by Gray and Gunaratne, who also run the Royersford school.

Should the school reach full capacity, it will create about 20 full and part time jobs.
