2. The 8^th Annual PennSuburban Chamber of Commerce Challenge 5K Race is today at 9:10 a.m. (7:45 a.m. registration) at Penndale Middle School, 400 Penn St., Lansdale. Cost is $30 at the day of race. Prizes for fastest business teams, high school/middle school teams and individuals by age group. Food, beverages and T-shirts for runners.

3. The Santa House in Lansdale is open from 10 a.m. to noon at Railroad Plaza.

4. Central Schwenkfelder Church’s Women’s Christian Fellowship group is sponsoring a special jewelry sale today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to benefit Women At Risk International. The sale is at Central Community Center, 2067 Steelman Road, Lansdale (Worcester Township).
