Township Line Road, Franconia, holds a Diwali and Hindu New Year grand festival and celebration from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., plus events will be happening throughout the day. There will be divos (candles) and maha arti (an offering to God for inner peace and prosperity) alongside the Annakut (festive display of more than 500 vegetarian delicacies).

3. St. John’s UCC, 500 W. Main St., Lansdale, holds an alternative gift market from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. — match everyone on your Christmas list with a meaningful charity to support in their honor. There will be luncheon sandwiches, free will donations for Alex’s Lemonade Stand, Fair Trade coffee and tea, and Equal Exchange chocolates.

4. Kenny Vance & The Planotones play Sellersville Theater at 7:30 p.m. in a sold out concert.

5. Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School students perform Roald Dahl’s “Willy Wonka” at 3 p.m. at the school at 1345 Sumneytown Pike, Lower Gwynedd. Tickets are $16 for adults and $13 for students.
