1. Lansdale Borough holds a special recognition ceremony at 6 p.m. at Lansdale Borough Hall to thank its responders and staff during Hurricane Sandy. A council action meeting takes place at 7 p.m.

2. Patient First, a no-appointment urgent care and primary care neighborhood medical center, opens its doors in Montgomeryville today at 8 a.m. The center is located on Bethlehem Pike/Route 309 north of Five Points.
