Free Hazardous Waste Disposal Event To Be Held In Harleysville
Get rid of your paints, oils, chemicals, and other hazardous waste for free at the upcoming event.
HARLEYSVILLE, PA — A free household hazardous waste disposal event will be held in Montgomery County later this month.
The event will take place at Indian Valley Middle School, on 130 Maple Avenue in Harleysville, on Saturday, April 26.
"Household hazardous waste is material that can be dangerous to human health and the environment if not disposed of properly," organizers with county government said. "It includes flammable liquids like old gas and oil; toxic solids and liquids, such as pesticides and herbicides; and reactive chemicals like chlorine for pools."

The event is by appointment only, and preregistration is needed online here.
