Fugitive Wanted By Montco Sheriff For Aggravated Cruelty To Animals
Thomas Clark Hazzard is a fugitive from justice. Montgomery County authorities are seeking him and are asking for the public's help.
NORRISTOWN — Authorities in Montgomery County are asking for the public's help in locating a fugitive from justice who was suspected of killing two dogs.
Thomas Clark Hazzard, 41, whose last known addresses were in Souderton, Hatfield and Pennsburg, is being sought on five active criminal warrants.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, Hazzard is facing a slew of charges, including aggravated cruelty to animals - causing serious bodily injury or death, criminal trespass, receiving stolen property, retail theft, driving under the influence and more.

According to one of the criminal complaint's against him, Hazzard was suspected of fatally poisoning two Rotweiler's at a Hatfield Township property where he was residing.
Hatfield Police said they had been called to the home Hazzard was renting and smelled decomposition at the property before finding the two dead dogs, the complaint states.

Hazzard's landlord and another individual had said that Hazzard was keeping the dogs in "deplorable condition," according to the criminal complaint.
A forensic examination showed that the dogs had signs of being poisoned, but no actual poison was detected in their system, according to police.
The Sheriff's Office says Hazzard was last known to reside in three locations: the 600 block of Mininger Road in Souderton, the 1700 block of North Broad Street in Hatfield, and the 1400 block of Route 663 in Pennsburg.
