MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP, PA — The historic Joseph Ambler Inn property, which has roots that trace to the pre-Revolutionary War colonial era, is now up for sale for $7 million.
The Inn and its hotel, tavern, restaurant, and other operations are not shutting down, owners confirmed. They are looking for a buyer who will continue its existing operations.
This marks the first time that the business, launched by Richard Allman in 1983, has gone up for sale.

The property features a total of 40,000 square feet of buildings and frequently hosts luxury events like weddings and business conferences.

Wheelwright Joseph Ambler purchased the property in 1723. It had been owned until 1682 by William Penn.
The Inn is located on 1005 Horsham Road within the North Wales zip code.
