Lansdale-Doylestown SEPTA Line Remains Shut Down After Fire
Lansdale area riders still have options to get to the city.

LANSDALE, PA — SEPTA's Lansdale-Doylestown regional rail line remains shut down late Tuesday morning after the major fire in Abington Township, authorities said.
SEPTA officials said the line would be suspended "until further notice" as fire department activity continues near the Jenkintown station.
Customers in the Lansdale and Ambler areas who would typically take the Lansdale SEPTA toward the city can take a series of buses in the meantime to eventually get them to their destination.

The SEPTA 94 bus runs from Montgomery Mall to Chestnut Hill. From there, riders can transfer to SEPTA 23, which will take them into the city, eventually to a 12th and Market Street stop around the corner from Jefferson Station.
That trip is estimated to take about two hours and 26 minutes, SEPTA said.
