Lansdale Man Gets 1-3 Months for Stealing $13K from Golf Course
Ryan Markle, 24, of South Valley Forge Road, must pay back $13,515 to Twin Ponds Golf Course in Douglass, after admitting to stealing from them while he was employed there

Lansdale’s Ryan Patrick Markle, 24, just scored the biggest bogey of them all at Twin Ponds Golf Course.
On Tuesday, the resident of the 600 block of South Valley Forge Road admitted to stealing more than $13,000 from the Douglass, Montgomery County golf course in after-hours thefts, while employed there in 2011, according to a Pottstown Mercury article.
He was sentenced to one to three months at the Montgomery County prison, according to the article. Upon release, he was three years’ probation.

Markle, who entered a plea agreement, must pay back $13,515 to the Twin Ponds Gold Course, according to the article. Markle admitted to felony theft by unlawful taking, according to the report.
