Lansdale Mayor Primary Live Results

Polls are closed and results are beginning to trickle in for key primary races in the Lansdale area, including the race for mayor.

LANSDALE, PA — Polls have closed in Montgomery County and across Pennsylvania, and results are now trickling in for the Lansdale mayoral primary. Democratic party endorsed candidate and borough councilwoman Rachel Bollens is facing off against two-time councilman and local business owner William Henning.

New results have come in for the first time in about two hours. It's only a handful of votes, with Henning picking up 34 new voters and Bollens 32. Bollens remains in a commanding lead.

  • Henning: 180

No new results have come in, and the bulk of ballots counted thus far are mail-ins. Only a small fraction of in-person precincts around Montgomery County have reported thus far. Bollens maintains a lead over Henning.

The first results in the Lansdale mayoral primary are in.

The latest results will be listed below as they come in. As of just before 8:30 p.m., Montgomery County still had not yet counted any precincts, which is a slower response than typical election year.

The Democratic primary features William Henning and Rachel Bollens, while Greg Gilrain is running unopposed in the Republican primary.

The trio are running to replace current Lansdale Mayor Gary Herbert.

Bollens has received the endorsement of Lansdale Democrats and a few other key organizations in town. She is a current borough councilwoman in Ward 1, and serves on the public works committee and chairs the parks and recreation committee. Her term expires in December.

Henning, meanwhile, is a two-time former councilman and business owner with deep ties to the Lansdale community. He owns the hobby store Henning's Trains in town.
