A Pedestrian Was Struck In Lansdale This Week; Police Are Searching For The Driver
Lansdale Police Department says it is searching for a hit-and-run driver who struck a pedestrian in the borough this week and then fled.
LANSDALE, PA — Police in Lansdale say they are searching for a driver who struck a pedestrian earlier this week and then fled the scene without stopping to render aid.
Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of East Main Street on Wednesday around 5:39 p.m. for a reported hit-and-run incident involving a pedestrian.
Upon arrival, responding police officers found a pedestrian who had reportedly been struck by a dark colored blue sedan, possibly a Hyundai Sonata, which fled the scene after the accident and was last seen heading westbound on East Main Street, according to a police report.

The pedestrian, who had been struck by the vehicle as it exited the Wissahickon Park Apartments complex, had to be transported by ambulance for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Lansdale Police, meanwhile, are searching for the offending driver.
