Soon it will begin….
In just a few weeks, you will start to see signs/ads/mailings/commercials for the upcoming political season.  As you may have noticed, a lot of money was spent on the Primaries, and yet all those candidates who came out of nowhere are still, well, nowhere to be seen.
You might see some of them doing a few things to keep face, but in my mind, if you want to be a face of the borough, you should be consistently active and involved in the community, not just around election times.
Residents of Lansdale, I am running to be your next mayor on the Democratic ticket and I want your vote.  I believe Lansdale is a great place to live, work and visit.  As your mayor, I promise to ensure that everyone knows why Lansdale is the place to be.
Some of you are hearing my name for the first time, some may have heard it before, and some know me for my involvement throughout Lansdale including my efforts to aid the community and make sure it continues to progress.
Over the past few years, I have listened, watched, and learned what is going on in our borough because it is important to understand what an elected official needs to do for you.  Most things I agree with, some things I don’t and that’s why it’s time for a new mayor.  We need a mayor who keeps the best interests of the Borough and its residents in mind, not what’s in it for him.  I am that person and I invite you to learn more about me.  Over the next few months, I will be visiting your homes and businesses to talk with you about my plans.
However, if for some reason I don’t get to see you at your place, my door is always open.
I co-host quarterly Town Hall meetings held the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Lansdale Parks and Recreation Building.  I also own Minuteman Press in Lansdale and will designate time after close of business each week for you to stop in and talk to me.  This will give you the chance to voice your concerns or ask any questions.
You can also email me anytime at doug@electdougformayor.com with thoughts and feedback. Lastly, follow me on my website www.electdougformayor.com and Facebook to see all that I am doing to better our community.
I have chosen to live and run my business here, because I know Lansdale Borough is a thriving destination.  As your mayor, I will continue advancing Lansdale and ensuring that we progress to a place where people want to be.  So, on Nov. 5, 2013 I ask you to choose Doug DiPasquale for mayor of Lansdale.

Doug DiPasquale
Democratic Candidate for Mayor of Lansdale
