Records show Connell also pleaded guilty to indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age, a first-degree misdemeanor, and corruption of minors, another first-degree misdemeanor.

In addition to the jail sentence, Rothstein also ordered Connelly to serve five years' probation.

Two additional felony counts and two misdemeanor counts that were originally lodged against the Connelly were dropped in exchange for Tuesday's guilty plea, records show.

Rothstein also ordered Connelly to comply with sex offender registration requirements, to have no further contact with the victim or any other minor children (his biological children excluded), undergo two psychosexual evaluations and comply with recommended treatments, undergo a sexually violent predator assessment, and pay monetary restitution.

Records show that the judge ordered Connelly to surrender on Aug. 1 so he could begin serving out his sentence at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in Lower Providence Township.
