Montco Native Signed To Pro German Basketball Team
Superstar hooper Seth Compas has continued to impress overseas.

BLUE BELL, PA — A former Montgomery County Community College basketball star and local native is making it big overseas.
Seth Compas, a 2022 graduate and Blue Bell native, has been signed to a contract with Germany's Berlin Braves, a professional team playing all over Europe.
“It’s very exciting,” Compas told his alma mater during a recent interview . “I can’t put it into words. It’s a no-brainer. I’ve always wanted to play professionally.”

A graduate of Wissahickon High School, the 6 foot, 3 inch did not play competitive basketball until he went to Montgomery County Community College in 2018. He thrived at Blue Bell, and was part of the then-new regional championship team in 2020 that traveled to Minnesota for the National Junior College Athletic Association tournament.
After getting his bachelor's degree, Compas played thrived on the international circuit and got an agent. It wasn't long before Berlin came calling.
