A Warminster Man Faces Stolen Vehicle Charges In Montgomery Township

MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP, PA — A Bucks County man faces a felony charge after reportedly crashing a stolen vehicle in Montgomery Township, according to media reports and court records.

Jacob Crespo, 40, of Warminster Township, was arrested after he drove over a 12-foot retaining wall following a police chase in a stolen car on Nov. 8, according to a report in North Penn Now.

The publication reported that local police later determined Crespo had active arrest warrants from Upper Moreland Township in Montgomery County, Warminster and Warwick Townships in Bucks County, and Stroudsburg in Monroe County.

In the recent Montgomery Township incident, Crespo has been charged with receiving stolen property, which is a third-degree felony, as well as two misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance and use/possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a criminal docket sheet in Magisterial District Court.

Court records show that Crespo has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Dec. 7 before Magisterial District Court Judge Andrea Hudak Duffy.

Records show that Crespo was remanded to Montgomery County Prison for failure to post bail.
