Moyer Awards Seven 2022 Scholarships to Children of Employees
Seven members of the Class of 2022 have been awarded the Moyer Scholarship for Children of Employees.
Seven members of the Class of 2022 have been awarded the Moyer Scholarship for Children of Employees. This is the 14th year of the Moyer Scholarship program with 2022 marking the presentation of over 72 awards over the years.
The Moyer Scholarship awards were presented to the students by David Moyer, President; John Moyer, Chairman; and Lisa Futchko, HR Representative during a ceremony recently held at the Moyer main campus in Souderton, Pennsylvania.

Alexa Baker, daughter of Todd Baker who works in the Moyer HVAC Department. Alexa is a 2022 graduate of Pottsgrove High School and will attend the University of Rhode Island to major in Sports Media and Communications
Melissa Moyer, daughter of Terri Moyer who works in the Moyer Payroll/Benefits Department. Melissa is a 2022 graduate of Dock Mennonite Academy who will attend Liberty University to study Digital Marketing.

Stefany Steckel, daughter of Larry Steckel who works in the Moyer Lawn and Tree Care Division. Stefany is a 2022 graduate of Northern Lehigh High School and will attend Lock Haven University to study Criminal Justice.
Derek Thomas, son of Brian Thomas who works in the Moyer Lawn and Tree Care Division. Derek is a 2022 graduate of Parkland High School and will attend Penn State University to study Business.
Sydney Wasdick, daughter of Lisa Futchko who works in the Moyer Human Resources department. Sydney is a 2022 graduate of Pottsgrove High School and will attend West Chester University to study International Relations and play Women’s Lacrosse.
Emily Watts, daughter of Steve Watts who works in the Moyer HVAC Division. Emily is a 2022 graduate of North Penn High School. She will attend Montgomery County Community College to study Liberal Arts.
Katherine Wenzel, daughter of Matt Wenzel who works in the Moyer Lawn and Tree Care Division. Katherine is a graduate of Dock Mennonite Academy and will attend Anderson University to study Nursing.
“We are delighted that we were able to award scholarships to seven children of our employees,” said David Moyer. “We wish these students all the best as they pursue their dreams.”
