National Grocery Chain Coming To Montgomeryville Announces Opening Date

Harnish Farms, Frecon Farms, Lady Moon Farms, and others will source the market with local produce.

MONTGOMERYVILLE, PA — National health-oriented grocery chain Sprout's Food Market has announced an opening date for its new location in Montgomery County.

The grocer will open up at 751 Horsham Road Unit B1 on Friday, July 25. Doors open at 7 a.m.

A full opening weekend of giveaways and events will continue through July 27. The opening will include a seasonal produce tasting bar, a "guess the weight" contest of oversized produce, and more.

The first 200 shoppers on Friday and Saturday will also receive a free reusable goodie bag with various products, samples, a long stem rose, and more.

It will be the second location of the health-oriented food chain in Montgomery County, after the Upper Dublin location, and the seventh in Pennsylvania.

Sprouts said they will work with local farms like Harnish Farms, Frecon Farms, Lady Moon Farms, and others to source local produce.

Sprouts will also donate groceries no longer fit for sale but still edible to Philabudence.

The store will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
